Since Waïloa launched, we've received photos, private messages and comments every week from you, our customers, wearing the brand in the mountains, at the beach or simply in everyday life. We're not going to make up quotes you never actually sent us — but we can tell you about what comes up again and again in your feedback.

The first point, unsurprisingly: comfort. Many of you tell us that a Waïloa hoodie or sherpa fleece has become the piece you always reach for – the one you grab before heading out on a hike, before an early-morning surf session, or simply for a cozy Sunday. The second point that often comes up: surprise at the quality of the materials, especially the organic cotton and recycled polyester used in some pieces — materials chosen for how well they last and how they feel, not as a marketing pitch.

Uses we didn't always see coming

What we especially love are the unexpected uses: a Waïloa beanie that comes along on a trek in the Pyrenees, a headband used for running as much as for surfing, a poncho that's just as handy for changing after a session as for improvising a picnic blanket. We don't make these uses up: we discover them thanks to you, in the photos you share.

Sizes and fits also come up regularly in conversations with our customer service team. We try to answer honestly, with our size guide to hand, rather than promise a one-size-fits-all cut that doesn't exist.

Waïloa is an independent brand, imagined and developed in Bagnères-de-Bigorre, between mountains and ocean. With no big marketing department behind us, every piece of feedback counts double: it helps us adjust a fit, rethink a fabric weight, or simply understand which pieces you wear the most.
