What are the delivery times, methods, conditions and costs?

In France, delivery times are generally between 1 and 6 days . For the rest of the world, it can take up to 15 days. We offer several delivery options: standard, express, and pickup point. Delivery costs depend on the chosen option and your location. Rates vary, so please check our Delivery page for more details. 🚚🌍

How do I make a return?

Log in to your account, go to " Orders " and click on " Request a Return ". Fill in the reason for the return. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Please return the product in its original condition, with tags and packaging. Feel free to contact us by email at hello@wailoa.fr .

What is the status of my order?

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking link. You can track your order's status by clicking on this link. Alternatively, log in to your account, go to " Orders, " and click on the relevant order to track its status.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Shop Pay, Bancontact, Amazon Pay, and Klarna (installment payments). All our payments are secured by Shopify Payments to guarantee the security of your transactions.

Where do you deliver?

We primarily deliver within France. However, we can deliver worldwide. 🌎

What are the delivery times, methods, conditions and costs?

Delivery times vary between 2 and 7 business days. We offer several delivery options: Standard, Express, and Pickup Point. Delivery costs depend on the chosen option and your location. For more information, please visit our dedicated delivery section here .

What is the status of my order?

As soon as your order is shipped, you will receive an email containing a link to track its status. You can also check the status of your order by logging into your account, then going to " Orders" and selecting the relevant order.

My parcel was not delivered to the chosen collection point, what should I do?

If the collection point has been changed by the carrier, this may be due to closure or insufficient capacity to accommodate your parcel. You can try collecting it directly from the new collection point. If this is not possible, file a claim with the carrier and contact us at hello@wailoa.fr so we can also take action.

My package is lost...

We encourage you to first contact the carrier to report the problem. If you don't receive a response within 3 days, send us a message at hello@wailoa.fr . We'll take care of resolving the situation quickly! 😉🏄‍♂️

Do I have to pay taxes and/or customs fees?

This depends on your location. Customers outside the EU may be subject to customs duties and import taxes. Waïloa is not responsible for these charges and cannot contest them.

What payment methods are accepted?

We accept payments via Visa, Mastercard, American Express, bank cards, Apple Pay, PayPal, Shop Pay, Bancontact, Amazon Pay, and Klarna (for installment payments). All transactions are secured by Shopify Payments to ensure the protection of your information.

How do I use my promo code?

Enter your gift card code in the designated field during checkout and click "Apply". If the code does not work, please contact us at hello@wailoa.fr .

When will my order be shipped?

Your order will be shipped within 24-48 hours (excluding surf sessions and powder days). We'll get in the water to prepare everything for you. 📦

Has my order been successful?

You will receive an order confirmation email. If you do not receive it, please contact us at hello@wailoa.fr .

How do I use a gift card?

Create an account on Waïloa. During checkout, enter your gift card code in the "Promo code" box and click "Apply".

Is my gift card valid anywhere other than on the e-shop?

No, Waïloa gift cards are only valid on our website.

📦 Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

How do I make a return?

Log in to your account, go to the "Orders" section, and select the "Request a Return" option. Indicate the reason for the return. Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Please ensure the product is returned in its original condition, with all tags and packaging. For any questions, please contact us by email at hello@wailoa.fr .

What are the conditions for a return?

Items must be returned in their original condition, unworn and with all tags attached. You have 14 days to make a return.

When will I receive my refund?

Once we have received and inspected your return, we will process your refund within 14 working days.

Can I make an exchange?

For logistical reasons, we do not offer exchanges. You will need to return the item and place a new order for the desired product.

I want to return an item purchased from a retailer.

Returns for items purchased from a retailer must be made directly to that retailer.

My part seems to be defective, what should I do?

Contact us at hello@wailoa.fr with a description of the problem and photos of the defective part. We will guide you through the exchange or refund process.

The part I want is no longer available, what should I do?

💧 Maintenance, Repair & Second Life

What can I do with an item that is at the end of its life or that I no longer wear?

When a garment reaches the end of its life, you can:

  • Return it to us free of charge in order to recycle or upcycle it into a favorite, for example.
  • Reuse it yourself thanks to upcycling tutorials.
  • Drop it off at Emmaus or at Secours Populaire to help the most deprived.
  • Place it at a relay point so that it can be recycled.
  • Sell ​​it on a platform if it is still in good vintage condition.

How do I take care of my Waïloa clothing?

Choose hand wash to make your product last over time.

Separate white, colored and black before running your washing machine. Avoid anti-fading wipes which could cause products to tarnish.

Wash at 30 degrees maximum .

We strongly advise you to return your product before putting it in the machine to preserve the prints.

Do not tumble dry. We recommend that you let the item dry in the open air, spread out well.

Little tips: You can shake it before hanging it out so that it is less wrinkled. You can iron your item at least but not on the prints (except embroidery)!

Tips number 2: Use a cloth between the garment and the iron to preserve the fiber and the prints.

NB: These tips have been written for all of our products. However, if a product requires specific treatment, we will specify this directly in its product sheet.

What are the brand's objectives and missions?

At Waïloa, our mission is to create stylish clothing and accessories for your adventures while respecting the ocean and the mountains. As a small company, we are not yet able to produce 100% in France. Therefore, we prioritize quality labels for our products, with the ambition of continuously improving our approach.

Our journey:

  • 2023 : Launch of our new brand identity.
  • 2024 : Expansion of our product range.
  • 2026 : Objective of developing a 100% European range.
  • 2028 : Target production of a 100% French range.

What are your commitments?

At Waïloa, we're committed to responsible fashion. We reduce plastic by using kraft paper and seed paper labels, and prioritize organic or recycled materials. Your support helps us move towards more sustainable fashion. For more details, click here . 🌱💚

Where are the products manufactured?

As a small business, we can't yet produce 100% in France, but it's one of our goals. We work with quality labels and Fair Wear factories to guarantee the origin and quality of our products. Some come from Asia or America, while the "Handmade" accessories are made by Léa at the foot of the Pyrenees (65).

Our objectives:

  • 2025 : Development of our product range.
  • 2026 : Partial relocation of production to Europe.
  • 2028 : 100% French production.
Why are not all products made in France?

As a small company, we don't yet have the financial resources for 100% French production. We're focusing first on growing our brand to develop increasingly sustainable products. Little by little, we're moving towards Made in Europe and Made in France.

🏄🏽‍♀️ About

What does “Waïloa” mean?

Waïloa, it's not just a name, it's a story that makes sense! Léa, the founder of the brand, chose this name during her studies for her Master's thesis.

  • Waï ” to represent generation Y, the one who questions everything. In yet another form "Why" for why the brand exists.
  • Lo ” for “slow fashion”, more eco-responsible fashion which does good for the planet and humans and which restores value to clothes and the act of purchasing.
  • At these ends, Léa added the letter " A " because her research during her studies concluded that brands that end like that go straight into people's heads!

But wait, what follows will give even more meaning to the brand. When Léa typed this name into Google before submitting it to the INPI, she discovered that it was also the name of a park in Hawaii. A sign of destiny! So she said: “Let’s go, I’m registering the Waïloa brand and I’m taking you on a journey from the name!

A journey into the world of textiles inspired by adventure while being concerned about the protection of the Ocean and Mountains.
