No. 03Our commitments

Actions,notpromises

Pieces made to last, steps carried out close to home and choices we stand by, one by one. Here is what we really do, and what is still left to do.

01Our way of doing things

Clothing that lasts is already a commitment. We choose our materials for their comfort and how well they last, and we prefer small concrete steps to big speeches.

    Sewn in Tarbes

Our labels and patches are sewn in Tarbes, in the Hautes-Pyrénées.

The screen printing of our pieces is done in Toulouse.

    Handmade

Headbands, scrunchies, bows, foulchies, washable cotton pads: handmade accessories are where Waïloa began, and they are here to stay.

    Less plastic

Our packaging is made of kraft paper, cardboard or corn starch, a bio-based and compostable European alternative. We move forward step by step.

  • 05

    Labels you can plant

Our seeded labels can be planted: daisies grow from them.

  • 06

    PETA Vegan Approved

Many of our materials are PETA Vegan Approved certified. For wool, we choose acrylic fibres or wool sourced in France.

  • 07

    Recognised labels

GOTS, Oeko-Tex, PETA Vegan… The composition and labels of each style are listed on its product page.

    Further, together

We organise events to showcase other makers, and on Instagram, Waïloa's Peach goes out to meet entrepreneurs.

Craft

Craft atthe heart

Our first handmade accessories mark the beginning of our story, and we never forget where we come from. Craftsmanship remains central at Waïloa.

Showcasing other makers matters to us too: these encounters are precious, and we can't wait to keep sharing them.

Materials

Chosento last

GOTS-certified organic cotton, Oeko-Tex or PETA Vegan certified materials depending on the style: every material is chosen for its comfort and how well it lasts.

The exact composition of each piece is listed on its product page.

Alone we go fast, together we go further. With many, we go further still.
